Blasphemy Censor Chrome extension · Last updated: July 20, 2026

Blasphemy Censor is a browser extension that automatically replaces certain blasphemous phrases in text that appears on webpages you visit.

Data collection

This extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. It does not use analytics, advertising identifiers, accounts, or remote servers.

How the extension works

All filtering runs locally in your browser. A content script reads visible page text only to find and replace matching phrases. That text never leaves your device.

Permissions

The extension runs on websites you visit so it can censor matching phrases in page content. It does not request access to browsing history, downloads, identity, or other Chrome APIs beyond that local text replacement.

Children’s privacy

The extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised and the updated policy will be linked from the Chrome Web Store listing.
